Pretty words I wrote,
penned, gift wrapped and delivered,
compliments of me.

I don’t really do Haiku often but it’s nice to experiment with new styles, I hope you enjoyed the simplicity, I’m not a Haiku-er so this was outside the comfort zone, the first time I went outside my comfort zone was with Pigeons so that’ll be my poem of the day for you to maybe enjoy š

I don’t write haikus on a regular basis, but I do tend to reach for that style when I want simplicity that still holds power š You’ve mastered both here. I especially liked how you used the syllables in the second line, you were able to get in so many thoughts in just 7 syllables
You should try writing in haiku more š What tends to be your comfort zone; free verse?

I was rather proud of that second line honestly š I do prefer free verse though š Thanks for the feedback, I’ll be sure to try my hand at a few more š

I prefer free verse as well š However most of my NaPo has been discovering and using different styles I’ve never even heard before xD
Have a good day~

I remember the first haiku someone showed me made me laugh,
Haiku are easy,
But some just don’t make much sense

Never attempted to write one because nothing could beat that :p
