With Compliments (Haiku)

Pretty words I wrote,
penned, gift wrapped and delivered,
compliments of me.

~ Andrew
I don’t really do Haiku often but it’s nice to experiment with new styles, I hope you enjoyed the simplicity, I’m not a Haiku-er so this was outside the comfort zone, the first time I went outside my comfort zone was with Pigeons so that’ll be my poem of the day for you to maybe enjoy šŸ™‚

  2. I don’t write haikus on a regular basis, but I do tend to reach for that style when I want simplicity that still holds power šŸ˜› You’ve mastered both here. I especially liked how you used the syllables in the second line, you were able to get in so many thoughts in just 7 syllables
You should try writing in haiku more šŸ™‚ What tends to be your comfort zone; free verse?
