Ambitions and Intentions

You wanted happiness,
love, passion, affection,
your lumbered intention
as loving retreated.

Feet, firmly fastening
to solid ambition,
which reaches fruition
through driven commitment,

your loyal addiction
to choices, decisive,
a crisis emerging,
and verging obsessive.

Breathe, calmly exhaling,
still hailing temptation,
eyes cherish creations,
we construct together,

life, rather forever,
a metered metronome,
tick, ticking endlessly,
a ringing telephone,

that sirens, deafening,
a hanging admission,
as someone defeated,
holds broken ambition.

I had a strange idea of 6 syllable lines where the words are 1 syllable, 2 syllables, 3 syllables but I don’t know if this exists or what it is called if it does. It may sound a little forced in places because I was experimenting with the new style but I hope you enjoyed it and if it doesn’t exist has anyone got any ideas for what it should be called?
In terms of branching out I’d be grateful if you read my Haiku: With Compliments which I wrote to get outside the box also 🙂 Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day 🙂
